My colleagues and I have adopted disguises (as human headlice) and have taken up positions on the heads of three ordinary Earthlings working for a global IT company (GLOB). Every week one of us sends a report on the doings of the Earthlings, and their company, back to the home planet of Offyd. (You can read these reports on www.businesswithearthlings.com)
This is my third visit to Earth. The two earlier ones were over one thousand years ago, when we observed the ways the Vikings did business (involving regrettably high levels of rape and pillage) and about two thousand years ago, when we observed what the Romans were doing trade-wise (also involving a fair amount of killing though the perpetrators had much better levels of personal hygiene.)
We Offydians are particularly interested in how the theory of business which Earthlings have developed over the last few hundred years is interpreted and put into practice (or not) by ordinary Earthlings in offices and factories.
