Bio

My day job is as the Manager of a Curry's in Markham, ON.  This is a prominent and well-known supplier of artists materials in Ontario.  I've worked for the company for 10 years and have been a Manager for 7.

I have created successful art programs at both of the locations that I've Managed, with on-going art classes, specialty workshops and free demos available for adults and children.  I teach acrylic classes to adults and watercolour and pottery to children.

Bio

My day job is as the Manager of a Curry's in Markham, ON.  This is a prominent and well-known supplier of artists materials in Ontario.  I've worked for the company for 10 years and have been a Manager for 7.

I have created successful art programs at both of the locations that I've Managed, with on-going art classes, specialty workshops and free demos available for adults and children.  I teach acrylic classes to adults and watercolour and pottery to children.

My "secret" job is as a cartoonist and graphic novelist.  I have a daily cartoon web-site and have been working on my first graphic novel in tandem with several comic zines.

My newest goal is to become a proficient public speaker in order to motivate and inspire.  I have yet to see my way through that - but I'm looking and asking... 

I am a lover of the Earth and a worshipper of Her beauty and magnificence.  I pursue my creative endeavours in the hopes of being a more effective voice to speak Her wisdom.  The Earth is alive and She is conscious.

I am the Store Manager and responsible for all aspects of the smooth daily running of the store including staffing, inventory control, product marketing, customer service and keeping abreast of the trends in the artist market in order to bring in relevant products.

I also provide all administration for the art programs including staffing, payment, scheduling, promoting and marketing of the classes, workshops and demos.
