My avocation and vocation
As my two eyes make one in sight. I also admire the founder of Aveda, Horst M. Rechelbacher, who said, “Ask ourselves: How can we serve, nurture and sustain the planet and its people in our business ventures?” In my position with The Mohawk Group, I have the privilege and benefit of meeting change agents in various roles, disciplines and industries across the country who are propelling momentum toward common goals of redefining our built world through environmentally and socially responsible vehicles while maintaining profitability.  It is through this work that I am helping The Mohawk Group to drive innovative and sustainable innovation -- inside and outside of the flooring industry. Prior to joining The Mohawk Group, I was the Director of Corporate Relations/ Development for The Clean Air Campaign. I have also owned my own Argentine clothing company, and worked for both an interactive marketing agency and a strategic consulting firm.  

My desire is to experience all communities and cultures around the world, while helping to fulfill the promise of a more sustainable tomorrow.

I am the Director of Sustainable Strategies for The Mohawk Group, the commerical carpet division of Mohawk Industries. In this role, I am working to strengthen existing, and develop and implement new programs and partnerships to help reduce our organization's overall environmental footprint while maximizing our positive impact on the world in which we work and live. These programs relate to our innovative products, our manufacturing processes, our sales function and the many other ways in which we operate and communicate in the world, including our industry and community partnerships with organizations such as Global Green USA, Easter Seals and Susan G. Komen. I am also a spokesperson for The Mohawk Group's sustainability programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
