I am having 3 probelms with trying to set up a group.
1) Even if I make it a private group ita ppears to be visible to everyone
2) How do you change the settings of a group, ie. change it from Private to Public, I can't find anything to do this with
3) I have invited someone to join a private group, they have got the email, gone to the page and clicked to join. But then it says the Group is set so members can only be added my the moderator. I can't see how I am meant to do this.
Thanks, any help very welcome.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with IE 6 taking a flyer when loading certain FastCo pages? I have attached a file showing this for the Big Idea on today's post. Quite annoying actually.

"This Fast 50 2008 Application will be submitted for moderation and will not be accessible to other users until it has been approved." Submitted application approx 1 week before deadline. Approved? Unknown. No matter. But where can we find it, or other's = accessible? Would help if a LINK were right there on the Application page, and on future Fast 50 messages for 2008.

I received an invitation today for a contact with the link:
http://www.fastcompany.com/buddylist/nnnnn/buddies/requests, where nnnnn is the request number.
Selecting the link instantiates the fastcompany page, but the link contents are never displayed.
I also signed in to the site separately and saw 2 requests contact invitations, but could not view the profiles of those individuals.

I am unable to post anything at all to my personal blog (though I successfully created a group, a blog for that group, and posting to that blog). Whatever I type, today when I submit I get this message:
! blog : This post can't be referenced.
On previous days I got the message that I was suspected of being spam, but when I typed in the "captcha" and clicked submit, I got the above message. Today it just skips that step. Can anyone help?

Where is the "Post Comment" button?
How can I see/browse/search the member list of a group that I am part of?
Think user and listening, not push and talk.
Here's a story:
I got the paper FC in the mailbox yesterday. As always, I dove straight into it. I was touched by the passion about the new site and what you are trying to accomplish with it. So I thought: let's give them a chance.
I uploaded my contacts from LinkedIn. I see a list and a button that says: "Send Invitations"
So I get VERY CAUTIOUS. These are my contacts and in many ways, my lifeblood. What am I sending them when I hit this button. So I tick one. Not all. What I see confirms my suspicion: Martijn Sjoorda wants you to join FC and then a sales pitch from you guys about the site.
I have just lost interest in 30 seconds. The paper FC boasts two really good things this month: 1) it has an authentic, passionate statement about the FC site, which really connects people to your goals. Reread it and adapt your style on the site. 2) an article about why Barack Obama's campaign is so succesful at this stuff. Read it and apply it to the site.
Then call on me again to make it my business communications hub. And if it's really good, I promiss I'll even pay for it.
Good luck.

I posted a comment on an article that I immediately wanted to edit. (Now, I would just like to delete it!) I can see it on my profile but I see no where to edit or delete it.
Could someone on staff please help me with this? You are welcome to delete both my comments. I flagged them using the "Report Content" button but that was the only thing I could see to do. Thanks.
Comment sections on most sites allow you to review your post one more time before you commit to it. I was expecting that here so I had not read my comment through - but BAM!! - it went right in! (In fact I am currently editing this post using the preview option here on this blog.) My suggestion is that you add a preview option to your comment section.
I agree with the previous poster that you need a Help or Contact section. It is frustrating to have to publicly post on a blog when we are having a problem with your site.
